Ethical commitment and sustainability

Created from a low environmental impact project, Relais Bellaria Hotel & Congressi proves how people can coexist with nature, adapting to its pace of life and preserving its spaces. Thanks to the sun’s energy and modern green building techniques, you will be able to have a sustainable stay.

An eco-friendly facility

Relais Bellaria is an example of building redevelopment. Created as a metal greenhouse used for a snail farm, it is now a venue dedicated to hospitality. Nestled in the greenery of Parco dei Gessi Bolognesi e Calanchi dell’Abbadessa, featuring roof gardens and surrounded by a lush park with centuries-old olive trees and plants from all around the world, Relais Bellaria is a low environmental impact project.

A green focus

From solar panels to saving energy, and even including the cooking at Corbezzoli restaurant and reducing our plastic consumption at the hotel, we follow a green approach everywhere. All of us, whether the owners or employees, work hard every day to play our part.

Every change, even the most difficult, is essential to help create a more sustainable future and to offer an ever higher level of service.

Local suppliers

For us, it is important to make conscious choices in every area involving hospitality. We have therefore chosen to work with local suppliers who, like us, adopt a sustainable strategy. At our restaurant, you will find seasonal and zero-mile products from the best local producers, such as ethical and organic farms.

Well-being at work

We care about the well-being of our employees and we firmly believe that to make our guests happy, our staff also need to be happy. Anyone who comes into our hotel will be welcomed with a smile and our desire to make their stay at our facility as enjoyable as possible, whether they are travellers or employees.
